ZYIA Review: Bomber Jacket

The ZYIA Bomber Jacket is the light weight jacket you didn't know you needed. It can easily fold up to fit in your bag, and features thumb-holes, cinch strings on the waist, and a hood that can cover even the messiest of buns.

Vented mesh along the length of the arms allow you to keep cool on warmer days, while the cuffs, and cinch string waist and hood mean you can shut out the cold when needed. I love mine for throwing on between fitness classes. Even though I'm still pretty warm from the workout, it keeps me from freezing when I walk over to the always-frigid gym lobby.

It's really the perfect jacket for traveling because it can be packed down tight in your carry-on bag or purse. I prefer this jacket over a sweatshirt on the plane as well since it always seems to go from chilly to sweltering while waiting for takeoff. The zippered pockets mean your phone and ID stay secure, too. And can we talk about this hood?! I have big hair. Like really big hair. And nothing is worse than when a jacket or hoodie's hood cannot contain this mane. But the bomber jacket has an extra large hood than not only can fit all my hair, but that even with a top-knot bun, it can still keep the rain off my face. Win-win in my book!

The only downside is that because of all the ventilation features, the bomber jacket is perfect for spring and fall, but not so great at keeping you warm come wintertime. To extend its wear through the colder months, you'll want to layer this jacket with some warmer pieces.

The design is a throwback to the cheer and dance team jackets of our high school years, but that doesn't mean it isn't still cool today. Everything comes back in style, right?!

The bomber jacket currently comes in four colors; black, white, jade green, and blush pink. The black, white, and jade ones have some subtle leopard print detailing that gives it that extra cute factor!

Not to mention, there's a matching shorts set for the black, white and blush colors. I recommend sizing up at least one size in the bomber shorts.

And our kid's line has a girl's matching jacket and shorts set if you're into mommy-and-me outfits! #twinning
